We were sent a black Oh Katy diaper.
Oh Katy’s diapers to me seem very petite when compared to other leading one size diapers. Below is a picture of the Oh Katy diaper next to a Giggle Life diaper.
I was a little worried at first that it would not fit a very chunky Natalie, but after prepping the diaper, we decided to give it a go.
Not only did it fit her, but it fit her better than the other diapers. It provided a nice trim fit, with less bulk between the legs. Oh Katy diapers have 3 rise settings that allow for the optimal fit between birth and potty training.
Above is my side by side comparison. The left is the smallest size that this diaper can go and is perfect for the newborn, and the right is of the largest size. With Natalie we are currently on the largest section at a year old and I am not sure if it can last her till potty training. She has started walking and may slim up some and then it will last us, but other than that.
I love how gentle the elastic is on both the legs and the waist.
Each diaper comes with two inserts, an adjustable and a newborn/doubler. Simply slide the microfiber insert into the front opening of the pocket and once dirty just roll up the diaper and use the cross over snaps to fasten all the mess inside. When you are ready to wash you do not have to worry about getting the stinkies on your hands, just simply pull out the insert via the front pocket opening!
I truly believe that Oh Katy diapers are stylish and unique and are a great starter diaper, but I feel as though when baby gets older you may have to invest in a larger diaper.
