Back in August I moved from Blogger to WordPress. I was a little hesitant to make the change at first, but then I decided why not? One of the scary things about moving to WordPress was the fact that I would be in new territory and I was unfamiliar with the HTML and technical aspect of it. After two years of being on Blogger and designing my own blog backgrounds, I had no idea where to start customizing my WordPress theme. I then came across Utterly Chaotic’s design page and I fell in love with her designs.
I knew that I wanted her to create a design for my blog. So I contacted her and she asked a lot of questions, which is a good thing, right? I told her that I wanted a simple, but pretty design and then I told her the colors. Since I was number 4 on the design list it took a bit for me to hear back. She came back at me with different color palettes and I picked one.
I was placed on the list around July 20th and I received my completed masterpiece on September 17th!! Almost a month. This is fast paced, especially for her having so many problems with her own site and for me being number 4 on the waiting list.
I was so excited that I just could not hide it. She showed me the design that she did and it was so beautiful, I love how it has a clean, simple design, but yet it is beautiful! She completely blew my expectations!
Not only did I get the WordPress package, but I also got a custom Twitter background and Facebook cover design!
