Our Story
Founded in 2009 by Jasmine Bashaj, So Rad is a creative and highly functional clothing line for babies and toddlers. Bashaj, a successful digital illustrator, motion graphic designer, college instructor and mom of two (who obviously needed more to take on!) created the clothes after fans of her popular So Rad greeting card line encouraged her to put her unique graphics on children’s clothes. Fed up with mass-marketed and expensive garments that pinch, fall apart in the wash, or are made under dubious working conditions using inferior materials, Bashaj made sure that every step of the So Rad process is done locally, and eco- and parent-friendly. When she’s not working on new designs or spending time with her little ones and husband, Vaughan-based Bashaj is trying to get some sleep.

Ease of Use
Now that it is officially summer time, I love having dresses in Natalie’s wardrobe! Not only is it color for her, but it is so much easier to get onto a squirmy baby. This dress in particular is extremely easy to use. It is a komono type dress in that it ties inside and out side of the dress to allow for that perfect fit. I love that both the shorts and dress are so soft and stretchy. Just simply slide onto baby and you have a cute little outfit for outings or simply for playing at home.
Fit
As you can see Natalie loves her little outfit! Mainly because it is not scratchy or tight and it allows for her to move with ease. Natalie currently wears a 12 months, but we decided to go with the 12-18 months so that we can get more life out of it. The shorts provided such a bigger and better fit then regular shorts. Seeing how we cloth diaper sometimes it is harder to find shorts that actually fit, SoRad actually prouds itself on making shorts that fit bigger for those who cloth diaper!
I absolutely LOVE the little elephants on this dress, the baby is holding on to the mama’s tail. SoRad offers other neat appliques, such as robots, and dolphins.
Washing and Drying
When I first received the outfit, I took off the tags and washed it with my normal laundry routine, cold/cold, and then I tumble dried it. It can out just as nice as it did going in, except it was more softer! After a couple of washings and dryings it still looks brand new and no fading.

Overall Rating
All in all we love our little dress and plan on using for as long as we can. SoRad even has sample sales and those items are more than 1/2 reduced, it is for their newest products!
